Time For an Album Review!

Today I am reviewing Timber Timbres "Creep On Creepin" On" This is Timber Timbres 4th LP and it was released this year. The opening track of this album "Bad Ritual" really sets the stage for this album! The lyrics are about a man has lost some one close to him (Like a girlfriend) and he can't stop thinking about her with other men. I'm pretty sure we can all relate to that. I REALLY enjoy the style of this LP It reminds me of rockabilly with a darker edge. The vocals I didn't care for. But it did grow on me. SO! I'm giving Timber Timbres "Creep On Creepin" a 8.5/10 Check it out! :)

First Jobs and Stuff.

There comes a time in every ones life, When it's time to get that first job. My first real job was working at a small drive in coffee shop called "Ellianos" It was a pretty fun job! I enjoyed making coffee. They let me play music. I met people, And might I say I met some pretty HOT girls. (They dig coffee) it was a sweet job. I'll never forget the smells, people, the things I learned, And the enjoyment I got out of the job! My question for you is. What was your first job. You love it, hate it? if so why?

Let's talk Headphones!

When it comes to music quality I'll drop big bucks on a nice set of headphones. So, I'll help you get your "Bang for your buck" Just remember don't go to Best Buy and spend 60 bucks on a cheap pair of skull candy headphones there really not the best. If you want amazing quality you gotta shell out 100-150. First off we have the Audio-Technica ATH-M50S Studio Monitor Headphones (I use these for recording stuff) These are truly the best pair of head phones your going to get at the 100ish dollar range. They work well sound amazing and are long lasting. Next up we have the AKG Acoustics K-240 The AKG's work great, I own a pair. I love em' Comfy great sound! For the last set of headphones two words. Lego Headphones. http://www.instructables.com/id/LEGO-Headphones. Epic.

Here's a Chill Track.

I've been really enjoying this band. So here ya go!

Movies and Stuff

Today I saw "Black Swan". Black swan is about a girl Nina Sayers (AKA. Natalie Portman) Who get's the leading role in Swan Lake, But there's a twist. She has to play as both the White Swan and the Black Swan. I'm trying not to spoil this film so I'll jump right into what i thought about it. One thing i really enjoyed that this was an art film with a dark side. The choreography was amazing. I heard some where that Natalie Portman took ballet lessons for a year to get this role, And let's not forget Natalie Portman's acting here is AMAZING. I'd say check it out this films not for every one, but for me I gotta give it a 8.5. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis did an amazing job in this film.

First Review!

Alright! Today I'm going to review The Human Abstract's Digital Veil. The Human Abstract is a metal band from gold ol' LA. Digital Veil is there third studio album and might I say it has much to offer! Right off the bat you can tell there is a heavy influence with classical guitar. for example the opening track "Elegiac" has a classical guitar with a nice twist at the end! It really sets the stage for this album. One thing I really enjoyed about this album is the KILLER vocals and great lyrics! I've come across a lot of metal bands where the vocals where not the best and it hurt my listening experience. One thing to note to is drums a lot of bands have been using drum trigger (I'm not a big fan) but the drums on this album are amazing! I really enjoyed it. I rate this album a 8/10 I'm diggin' it.

Words and stuff.

Any one reading the blog make sure you suggest music to me comment message me. I'm up for any thing. Hell I might even do an album review
